Who will be this year’s NCSSM National Champion? The pressure is on for this "full-court press"! Will the Class of 2003 have strong defense and secure victory again? Or will the Class of 1986 come back and reclaim their title? Or maybe one of our recent alumni classes will take the championship this year?
Help us surpass the success of our last March Challenge in 2024 with a goal of 1,000 alumni donors contributing $150K towards our larger $1.3 million dollar goal for the year!
Your generosity will support some of our greatest and most important needs: student research, academic competitions, student enrichment activities, and attracting and retaining world-class faculty, just to name a few.
While this is primarily a fun and friendly competition for NCSSM alumni, ANYONE (current/alumni parents, faculty/staff, friends etc.) can make a gift or help spread the world to make a difference at NCSSM.
Together, WE DID IT! 🎉 Thank you to all the alumni and NCSSM community members who rallied together to help us EXCEED our goal — raising more than $159,000 from over 650 donors, a new record!
Congratulations to the Class of 2003, our champions 🏆this year! We also wanted to give a special shout-out to this year’s MVPs — Class of 2024. With a remarkable young alumni participation rate, they made history and landed at #7 in the Top 10 Leaderboard (final results below).
The biggest WIN of all is your generosity fueling innovative research, inspiring faculty, and life-changing opportunities for NCSSM students.
Thanks again for this incredible showing of NCSSM spirit and support! 🥰

WOW! We are blown away by the support the 2025 March Challenge received from the NCSSM community. Thanks to all of your generous donations we have exceeded our $150,000 goal!
We appreciate your patience as we continue calculating the complete campaign totals and the final results for the Top 5 Leaderboard.
Stay tuned!
446 days ago by Katie SeizWe’re in the FINAL HOURS ⏱️of the 2025 March Challenge, and we’re less than 10% away from our $150,000 goal! Will you help us get there by making your gift before midnight tonight?
2003 is BACK in the lead—but 1986 is on their heels! It’s going to be a buzzer-beater finish!

1986 is back in the lead over 2003 due to a recent class challenge. The Class of 2024 is also on FIRE with engagement like we have never seen before from young alumni. Their participation rate is currently higher than 50% of alumni classes. Please help spread the word in the LAST WEEK of March Challenge!

Competition is getting fierce and the Class of 2003 has now moved into the lead! We are just over 50% towards our goal with 2 weeks left.
Pro tip: Create a match or challenge when making your gift to amplify your impact. This has also helped some classes move into the Top 5 Leaderboard!

We’ve stretched, rehydrated, and now it’s time to “get back in the game” to reach our $150,000 goal. Before you “hit the court”, check in on your class's progress! Consider creating a match or challenge with your gift to help motivate your classmates. The classes currently contending for the championship are:
